About Kanha Tiger Reserve:

Most of us have grown up with Mowgli, the little boy who was raised by wolves, befriended a black panther and a bear, fought and killed a tiger, and returned to his village where fellow humans lived in Rudyard Kipling's collection of stories, The Jungle Book. The forest depicted in the famous novel by Rudyard Kipling, The Jungle Book is based on jungles including this reserve.Kanha, the largest national park of Madhya Pradesh,  has a significant population of Bengal tiger, Indian leopards, the sloth bear, barasingha and Indian wild dog.

Bagh Villas

Bagh Villas (Tiger Villas) is a luxury tented camp located on the edge of Kanha National Park. It has 12 well-appointed air conditioned tents providing the feel of camping in the jungle without compromising on luxury. All tents are air conditioned and with hot and cold running water.   Inspired by the Maharajas during their hunting expeditions, the luxury tents at Bagh Villas use the traditional Shikar design. Pitched on an elevated wooden platform, the tents are located along the lake and others amidst the foliage of trees. Our spacious tents have been created with individual verandahs at the front designed to while away hours in privacy observing the teeming bird and animal life all around.   The people who live around Bagh Villas are mostly tribal from Baiga and/or Gond community. They live in perfect harmony with the nature and are generally nature lovers. Most of them live in close knit communities.   Bagh Villas Jungle Camp & Spa made it a point to employ local people from a five kilometre radius of the camp in order to help the local economy.
